We need to come up with a way to both maintain neighborhood character and expand homes. Zoning regulations would be the normal way this would be accomplished but they are not currently being followed by the Board of adjustment.
The question then is what planning tools might be used to achieve our objective? Three options have been discovered:

  • Overlay District
  • Historic Designation
  • Conservation District
    We wanted to meet to begin exploring and educating ourselves about these options.
