Many people attended the September meeting facilitated by Terry Andrews and Annette Couch. The meeting had been called for the purpose of exploring Historic Designation for East Washington Park.

After months of research and hosting several meetings to learn more about tools available to help us deal with neighborhood growth, Terry and Annette have decided that Historic Designation appears to be the most viable tool. Several other neighborhood leaders have now stepped forward to join in this effort. They will be working alongside the two women to further investigate, with all of you, the possibility of Historic Designation.

Many questions were asked and answered. Many other questions needed more research. These questions and the answers to them, make up the next article titled "Questions and Answers".
