East Washington Park Special Neighborhood Meeting

Historic Denver, Inc. will host a meeting for East Washington Park neighbors. HDI applied for a mini-grant from the Colorado State Historical Fund to conduct a structural study of the neighborhood. They were awarded $10,000 to determine the historic significance of East Washington Park's businesses, homes, schools and churches.

These funds have been used to hire a Denver based research firm to conduct the study. The results of this study will help determine whether or not East Wash Park is worthy of designation as an historic district.

Come learn about this and how you can get involved. The meeting will be April 5, 7PM, at the Washington Park United Methodist Church, 1955 East Arizona Ave., in the Fellowship Hall.
