Virginia is blessed with a long tradition and honorable commitment to assisting individuals, families, and communities who have not fully shared in the nation?’s prosperity. However, despite efforts by the Federal government to battle social distress, too many of our neighbors still suffer from poverty and despair. In every corner of Virginia, people of all ages and walks of life are calling out for help.

Aiming to assist these people and others in need, Project Community, as a community-based organization, is made up of components designed to bring an alliance of entities together as one. Through a holistic approach Project Community will provide a host of programs and services that will transform lives with compassion, commitment, and dedication as a Virginia unsung hero.
