Why not keep the tents up after ''A Taste of Pawtucket''? Maybe the tents along Slater Mill and the Blackstone River could make a nice camp for the local homeless and those people who are in danger of losing their jobs at closing local factories or who are being squeezed with high rents from local landlords? Maybe the mentally ill need some living space. I am sure the poor and homeless would appreciate the kind, humane gesture from the artisan community. At least this temporary measure will hold until transitional housing can be remodeled on Garden Street, Nickerson Street, and Montgomery Street.

Tent City?

Have posted for others to respond to, but not sure the city would like to highlite their/our downtown however temporary...and what would people do for the family FunFest and other events scheduled?
Anyone have some creative add ons for the city to consider...?
Camp Welcome?

Nice idea, but think the spread may be better in another area and get the officials on the ball for the real solutions.
