Visit these US government web sites for updated information pertinent to international travel.
US Passport holders: check to see that your passport will NOT expire for 6 months AFTER the Thai trip ends. For most people, that would be about July 20, 2007 (unless you remain behind for independent travel). Note: The RTC-TH trip fees DO NOT cover passports and related expenses.
If you need a US passport or need to renew a US passport, use the weblinks below and take care of this immediately. If you are not a US citizen, the same expiration criteria apply to you. If you need a non-US passport or need to renew your non-US passort, contact your nation's embassy or consular office for information. NOTE: Be sure you have proper documentation to re-enter the US when returning from the Winter 2007 Thai volunteer trip.
Traveling to Thailand is fairly easy. Persons with US passports do not need to apply for a Thai visa. You get 30-days stamped into your passport upon arrival.
If you have a Non-US, Non-Thai passport, check on the Thai visa requirements by visiting the Royal Thai Consulate website using the link below.
Know before you go. Plan your budget for personal expeneses and allow for currency fluctuations.
