I heard back from our New Castle County police contact and received the following information:
"On 11/10/08 at around 6:20 pm, patrol officers were dispatched to the Radnor Green Park for a robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, contact was made with the four victims. The four of them were sitting in the park and were approached by three suspects. The first suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled tight around his face so they could not see him. He was approximately 5'08" with a medium build. The second was a light skinned black male wearing a tan or gray hooded sweatshirt. He was approximately six feet tall and skinny. The third was also a light skinned black male wearing a beige hooded sweatshirt. He was approximately 5'05" -5'06" with a heavy build. No weapon was seen, however one was implied.
Cash was taken from two of the victims. The suspects ran through the woods towards Compass Drive after the incident.
The officers in the area were alerted and are checking the area as time permits."
Thank you for making us aware of this incident so we could follow up and get additional details.
