also,

"On 11/10/08 at around 6:20 pm, patrol officers were dispatched to the Radnor Green Park for a robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, contact was made with the four victims. The four of them were sitting in the park and were approached by three suspects. "

      1) the police should have arrested the victims for being in the park after dark.

the four victims should not be at this park after dark. i am calling the county to have this park removed from the end of woodgreen,it has been a hangout for teenagers and anybody in Chester with a car. its a shame for the little kids but it is used by hoodlums as a place to sell/buy drugs. ask the people who have to live with it they will tell you as they tell me. check with 213.211.209 212 214.they see what goes on24/7,no wonder they don't support RGCA ,they were betrayed when the park went in with out asking the people who live there about it.

remove the park tables ,bench, and playground.

Removing the park simply punishes the people who use the park for it's intented purpose.  The dirt balls and scumbags will simply find somewhere else to congregate and hang out.

If the people on Woodgreen see things going on they need to call the police and take responsibilty for their own street.  The police non-emergency number is: 302-573-2800.

Also arresting the vicitims is as bad as blaming the victims.  I understand that the park is not supposed to be used after dark but that doesn't make them as bad as the people who robbed them.

The only way we are going to get police to patrol the park more often is to make it become an issue with them.  This is going to require people to call and complain about what is going on down there.  The people who are best suited for that are the people who live on that street and can see what is going on and when the police need to be called.

Encourage people to call the police (302-573-2800). Call your council person (John Cartier- 302-395-8368) and tell them we need more police patrols. We've tried to revive the community watch on several occassions with no interest from the community.

As far as Woodgreen Ct.'s issues with the park I didn't even live here when the park was put in. I'm sure there are a lot of others who weren't here then either so not supporting the RGCA for that reason is just petty.
