Nobody in government, Bellemeade or Metro, appears to be willing to do anything about the speeding on North Chadwick Road except pay lip service to the problem. Residents on this street deserve BETTER!!!!! I am so surprised at the apathy.

Give it up pajowm; where have you been? We just had an election in November and everyone is all snug and secure in their newly-sworn-in two and four year terms. Did I just say, "sworn in" there? Yes, you know the oath I'm speaking of ... the one where they pledge to abide by the Constitution and uphold all of the laws .... yeah, that one. They could care less about your concern now. Wait until the next election and they will "promise" to do something about your problem. Notice I keep saying "your problem" because they don't live on your street and don't have to contend with the dangers; therefore it is not their problem.

If you only consider one aspect of a situation you never truly understand it, however if you are willing to listen to the opposition and still justify you stance then you have been made fully aware and have a better respect for your choice. Please allow others to do the same as there may be more than one correct solution to a problem.
I have been listening and I am looking for answers. |

Opposition? What opposition? Are you telling me that there are people who disagree with those residents who want the speed limit observed/enforced on their street? Perish the thought!!!
And Bravo!!! You have now mastered the art of political spin! I wonder if that post was spur-of-the-moment or dwelled-upon. Next thing you know everyone in DC will be using it. It should go into the Smithsonian as an enduring excellent example of double-talk.
As a little tiny bit of en garde, carefully think about the first 14 words of your response. |
