Houses in River Bend Subdivision have front lawns that are fully sodded with Bermuda grass. Some houses have large rock outcroppings and boulders on steep hillsides in their front or back yards. Landscaping in these areas can be particularly challenging.
As Mother Nature hates a void and quickly fills these areas up with "weeds" the task is left up to the vigilant homeowner to choose a landscape plan that works for their time, space and needs.
Following are resources that address these two issues on how to create rock gardens out of natural outcroppings in the South and how to care for Bermuda grass turf.
