This division provides 24-hour service 365 days each year in support of the department's mission. All customer inquiries related to any of the services we provide are the responsibility of Customer Operations. Representatives in the Customer Service Center can be reached through the customer hotline, 954-828-8000. In addition to answering pertinent questions, investigating complaints and solving unusual problems in an effective manner, the Service Center also tracks customers contacts to ensure that satisfactory resolutions are achieved.
The neighborhoods and structure in Fort Lauderdale also require maintenance to stay in good condition as they age. Individual structures and neighborhoods that are not maintained not only deteriorate beyond a usable point, they also cost residents more money. Property values fall, vandalism and crime occur more frequently and neighborhoods become dirty and unattractive.

The Curbside Recycling Program provides curbside bins and weekly service for a variety of materials to all single-family homes, duplexes, and triplexes in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Participate in this upgraded program by calling Customer Service at (954) 828-8000. Customer Service will ask you to place the bins you currently have at the curb. A City employee will then come by within three days to place the correct label on your blue bin and leave a new green bin.
Multi-family residents may participate in the City Partnership Program for apartments, condominiums, and townhouses.
