MINUTES
There were no corrections or additions to the January minutes
TREASURERS REPORT
The treasurer reported that the General Account has $5,789.34 & the Dock Account has $7,577.15. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Ed Oechsli who worked diligently to put our tax assessments in Access, a computer program that assures the amounts are correct & also prints the bills. These assessments are being delivered along with the minutes. If you notice a different amount than you have paid in the past this is due to re-calculations using the lot square footage as supplied by PVA. We had four owners who did not pay last year; one of which owes for two years. The past due amounts have been added to this years statement.
DOCK REPORT
Jeff Patton & Steve Lindell hope to contact each dock owner within the next few weeks regarding the electric installation. However, the boardwalk repair is a priority at this time.
There was severe damage to the boardwalk during February?’s bout of high water. Three large sections of boardwalk are gone. The repairs will not be completed by Thunder (April 12th). Therefore, the stairs leading to the riverfront will be blocked off. We ask your cooperation when you go to the pavilion to watch the fireworks. Please do not allow your guests or family to venture down to the riverbank.
THUNDER REQUEST: We encourage residents & their guests ONLY to use the pavilion during the air show & fireworks. However, the resident MUST BE PRESENT when the guests are on the pavilion. If anyone would like to watch the gate during the fireworks please let a Board Member know. We will be happy to give you the banner to hang on the fence. (Note: the Board Members who normally go on the pavilion will not be able to do so this year.)
NEW BUSINESS
BENCHES: One of our benches that is on the main island rotted & collapsed. Carlos Terril is looking for a replacement, however, they have doubled in price since we purchased them four years ago.
E-MAIL: If you would like to receive your minutes via email please send an email to llindell@yahoo.com. You will be placed on the list.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:08 pm.
