Welcome!Sister’s Action Team Inc.(SAT), is a grassroots, community-based organization which empowers women from their own communities to become proactive change agents for themselves, families, and community. It was founded in October 1997. SATWEN was initially organized as a sisterhood support group located in Atlanta’s historic Vine City Neighborhood. We are advocates for the needs of women and children in the areas of health, economic development, education, and housing. SAT defines wellness from a holistic perspective that views not only our physical health but acknowledges the emotional, spiritual, mental, economic and environmental issues that influences our wellness. This holistic approach encourages individuals not only to improve their wellness, but to also transmit a legacy of wellness to future generations.
