Self Help And Resource Exchange

SHARE is a national food cooperative that emphasizes shared resources and giving back to the community. For $15 (payable in cash or $14 food stamps and $1 cash) and two hours of community service, participants get a high-quality 20-25 pound food package worth $25-30.

SHARE is not a charity, or a government program. It is a partnership of the entire community. It promotes human self-respect and dignity by putting to use all that people have to offer in terms of time, talents, money, goods and services.

It?’s easy to sign up. There are no eligibility requirements, no forms to fill out, or questions to answer. Just come to the site and sign up.

Bring your $15 for each food unit you wish to order and pledge your two hours of service.

You will be given a receipt and be told the date and time you should return to pick up your food.
