The South Crenshaw Boulevard TNI is centered around the Crenshaw Boulevard commercial corridor between 52nd and 79th Sts. And the surrounding residential neighborhoods. Community participation has been strong as evinced by the 100+ turnout to a "Community Summit" held in June, 1999. Many residents are homeowners and the response to the residential rehabilitation grants \has been overwhelming in this area. The South Crenshaw TNI team has been working to harness the community's interest with the creation of a community group.
