Dear Sirs,
We would like you to know that yesterday (May 20, 2010 @3:30) Rory Scott, the maintenance man at Highline Meadows, was caught by two eye witnesses riding recklessly on the Highline Canal land. We have provided pictures of the tracks left by the 4 wheeler and ask that you contact the Highline Meadows Condo Association to resolve this issue.
You folks have already spoken with TMMC in the past concerning this issue. See notes below.
We pay a lot of money each month for maintenance and dont need our maintenance people playing on the Highline Canal with a motorized vehicle since this is direct violation of your rules and this is the second time we have witnessed this type of activity.
We hope you seriously look into this matter.
Sincerely,
Joe Owner

Attention TMMC Management:
Denver Water has asked South Suburban to contact TMMC Management Company in regard
to unauthorized motorized vehicle access on the High Line Canal. South Suburban Parks
and Recreation is the lease holder for the recreational use of the canal trail that runs adjacent
to the High Line Meadows Condominium Complex. I am writing to inform you that the lease
agreement with Denver Water specifically prohibits unauthorized motor vehicles on the canal.
It is the District’s parks rangers’ responsibility to enforce this provision including writing
citations for unauthorized use. Therefore, since we have been made aware of this
unauthorized use by the individual who is evidently employed by your complex, we will issue
citations for further violations regarding unauthorized use of the canal.
If you have any questions, in regard to the District’s position on this matter, please contact me
at the address/phone listed below.
Thank you for your immediate attention to resolving this situation.

TMMC Management:
Denver Water has received reports, including the one below, of unauthorized motor vehicle
use on the High Line Canal by one of your employees at the Highline Meadows Condominium
complex. Denver Water does not allow unauthorized motor vehicle use on the Canal for
obvious safety reasons and we take violations seriously. Under no circumstances are your or
any other motor vehicles allowed on High Line Canal property without prior written permission
from Denver Water and South Suburban Parks and Recreation, leaseholder on the section of
the Canal in question. The same is true for unauthorized plowing or maintenance of any kind
on Denver Water property.
Please inform your staff and residents of your complex that unauthorized motor vehicle
access and maintenance of any kind on the High Line Canal is prohibited. If Denver Water
continues to receive similar reports, we will ask The Arapahoe County Sherriff’s Department
to intercede. Additionally, a copy of the complaint has been forwarded to South Suburban
Parks and Recreation, who may decide to take independent action of their own. If you have
any questions, please contact Tom Mulligan, Assistant District Foreman of the High Line
Canal, at 720-291-1038.
Thank you for your immediate cooperation,

Dear Sirs,
Some people believe that Bill has been plowing the Highline Canal. We have a picture here of
him on the 4 wheeler on the Highline Canal. WE do not need him to be hot rod ding around
the complex and wasting our fuel and all while we are paying him a salary.
Can you please discuss with him that he is not to be on the Highline Canal and that he should
refrain from riding on the common areas such as the grass since we are seeing his tracking
all over this place and we don't like it.
We like Bill and think he does a wonderful job along with Rory but feel that we must contact
you re guarding this matter.
We will contact Denver Water if needed but we thought that we could discuss the matter
personally before taking any further actions.
Thanks,

ubject: PLS NOTE: My Observation-- Rory Scott Caught riding 4 Wheeler recklessly on the Highline Canal Again Date: Sunday, May 30, 2010, 4:48 PM
Hi Jim:
Attached are the various correspondences regarding the 4 wheeler incident recently brought to your attention. I have never written anyone in response to any letters, but when I see a lie, or injustice being committed, I just feel it is my responsibility to respond to it.
First, I want it completely understood that I do like Rory Scott and this letter is not one of really complaining about him, but more so, one of telling you that when you spoke with our Highline association's mgt company's rep, Denise Hass, her telling you that, and I quote (I'm a former television news photojournalist so excuse me for quotes), "Rory Scott was not even at work during the time the ATV was supposedly being used. In fact, the ATV is used mostly during winter months, mostly to remove snow, and is not typically utilized during late spring or summer months" is just a complete, out right, lie. I spoke with Rory after I received the first letter about his driving on the canal and he admitted to me he had done it but had meant no harm.
Regardless about this incident, my concerns, and the reason I am writing you is to substantiate the fact that Ms Hass, along with the management company of Highline Meadows, has, and does lie to us, the home owners, and to others, like you. There is a lot of problems here with this mgt company and we, the home owners, are having a hell of a time dealing with these problems-- much of them dealing with monies which aren't accounted for etc. (the list is too long).
My reason, again, for this letter is to just substantiate the fact that I know for a complete fact that Denise Hass totally, out right, lied to you. As I said, I spoke with Rory, and he even admitted the said occurrence. I dont want to see him get into trouble, but you must understand you are dealing with a management company who will lie, cheat, and steal what ever they can and as much as they can, for their own purposes. This is a very serious, and on-going problem here.
If you have any questions, please dont hesitate in contacting me.
Sincerely,
