ShadowRidge Block Watch II - Neighborhood Association

Welcome ShadowRidge Block Watch / Neighborhood Association! 

 My name is Jesse Garcia and I’m the President of the Block Watch / Neighborhood Association.  The group started in November 2007 with just 10 households and now we have grown to over 125 households. 

 The goal of the Block Watch and Neighborhood Association is to create the most enjoyable, safe, and community oriented neighborhood in Northeast Phoenix.  We are so fortunate to live in a community that appeals to all types of people for many reasons including location, nearby amenities and an excellent school system.

 In the past few years the neighborhood has started an e-mail communication list for crime alerts, held quarterly meetings, conducted a neighborhood clean up, donated citrus to the neighborhood and to a local food bank, installed new block watch signs, received 10K grant to build the block watch and finally we held 2 get to know your neighbor festivals.  We have been very active and we’ll continue to be active.  It’s all about neighbors helping neighbors. 

 We have created this newsletter and a brand new website at www.neighborhoodlink.com/ShadowRidge/home for the ShadowRidge Block Watch / Neighborhood Association, so you can find everything you need to know about our neighborhood and our community.  Please take time to read the first edition newsletter and browse the web site for a member application, guidelines, boundaries, committee information, neighborhood events, secured neighborhood forum and more.
