Hi. I am interested in hearing what neighbors think should be the response to the city of Mpls regarding the loss of funding through the NRP program to the Columbia Neighborhood. We were given $475,000 for the first 10 years of the program. We were scheduled to get only around $300,000 for the next 10 years and the mayor offered half of that which would only give us $150,000. Our housing grant program cost $225,000 to put these numbers in perspective and we also need to have money to pay staff and run the organization out of this money. What's your idea about this?
I would like more info on NRP

Sue, Could you give some examples of what the NRP program has provided for the neighborhood? You mentioned the housing grant program, what does that provide?

Thanks,

Chris
Action Plan

Chris
