Somali Youth Association of Ohio is a non-formal, educational, youth development program that is offered to kids age 5 (or in kindergarten) to 19, regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, gender, or handicap.
utilizes four primary delivery methods to educate youth.
These methods include After school programs, spots, and youth leadership programs.
After-school programs can help improve the academic performance of children, can provide teach then about art and culture, and can widen their horizons.
SYAO shall provide the opportunity for Columbus youth to play soccer with competition from cities that have comparable soccer programs. Furthermore, Columbus Club Soccer shall challenge those players who have above average mental and physical soccer abilities with other players of similar aptitudes. Finally, SYAO Soccer Club shall be a stepping stone to a higher level of soccer competition for those players who want to pursue the Olympic Development or college level programs.
