Dear future homeowners,
I just wanted to warn future homeowners about the Somerset Commnity. It may seem like a small, ideal place to settledown or start a family, but it's not. Don't get me wrong, everything is great about Valrico and the location of this subdivion. The schools are fantastic and its not too far away from stores and the interstate. Its the PEOPLE living there that is the problem.
These people have nothing better to do with their lives than to snoop around your house to find things to complain about. I know I am not the perfect neighbor, but I would NEVER get in anyone's business. If this happened once, I would be okay with it. But it happened MULTIPLE times from MULTIPLE neighbors.
There are a few that are nice, but most of them are RUDE. I ran into a woman I never seen before and she had such a potty mouth. She lived blocks down, but for some reason she knew a lot of things about my family. I couldn't even keep track of how many f-bombs there were. These people are nosey and do nothing but gossip.
The Florida weather is unpredictable and one day a branch flew into our screened in pool area causing a rip in the screen. Three days later I got a notice at the door saying my neighbor was complaining about the screen being ripped. After that, many more complaints came in. I have lived here for 6 years and these things never stop. I got complaints that made no sense; for example, the pool is dirty ( is it your pool?! are you swimming in that pool?! ) I even got letters taped to my door! "You leave your dog alone most of the day. You are a bad dog owner" ( How am I supposed to pay the bills and buy him food if I don't work from morning to evening?! )
DO NOT MOVE HERE! THE AREA IS GREAT, BUT THE PEOPLE LIVING IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD ARE NOT NICE. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE OF DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!
