President's Message
It*s time, once again, for the Southface Community Assocation Annual Meeting. Its scheduled for Thursday, October 12th, at 7:00 pm in the Community Room of Fire Station #18 (Centennial and Vindicator, behind Blockbuster).
I know there are intelligent, thoughtful residents in Southface who care about our community. Homeowners who have good ideas for improving their neighborhood live here. Well, we need you!
Please consider serving on the Homeowners* Board of Directors. Your committment involves attending monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month. Usually each board member helps with only one specific asssignment--e.g. taking minutes, signing checks, welcoming new neighbors, acting as liaision with city departments, representing Southface on various community councils. Which one sounds appealing to you? Interested in coordinating some community social activities? Fourth of July Parade for kids, block parties, or whatever else you may propose are just a few suggestions.
Please plan to attend our annual meeting and volunteer to serve your community. We need you and your new ideas.
