If I ask politely? If I ask politely? So, I lose my rights if I am not polite? That being the case, 75% of the people in the country would lose their right to know or to speak freely. Clear back when I was in the 8th grade, mr. I forgot his name taught us that freedom of speech is an unconditional right except in cases of slander, libel, or dangerous situations like yelling fire in a crowded thertre if there is no fire. Nothing was mentioned about being polite.
Crude language? Again, nothing was said about language restrictions on freedom of expression.
And, I notice that your post did not state where you found that 1200 foot rule. Why not?
I know you work for free. You probably spend money out of your pocket to do your job sometimes. But, the fact still remains that somebody has to grab the bull by the horns and do what it takes to slow down the speeders. That should be you.
And no, I do not want to have a private conversation with you about issues. Issues and questions were posted openly on here for a reason. So please post your replies on here in the light of day too. Government has to be run openly.
And as for you ms reba; I recall your being rather mean-spirited yourself back about election time - hello darling! BTW, I hope you do get your speed humps on your street; I do agree with you about their need. If you get the speeders slowed down on your street, I hope they don't loop around and speed on mine or we'll be yelling for speed humps too. Bellemeade will then be Speed Hump Tree City, yeah doggies!!!!!!
