where are these drug dealers?
I was at the last meeting and listened as several neighbors complained about drugs on 3rd Ave. I was curious, and drove by the area several times this past weekend. On Friday at 8PM there was one kid on a bike. No friends, buddies or backup was observed. I even checked the alleys, as was suggested. No drug dealers there. Then on Saturday night I went by around midnight. Again, not a single person was out. Quiet as can be. Sunday afternoon. Same story. Where are these drug dealers? Why are we taking up entire meetings complaining about this when I just don't see it. Our CPO doesn't seem to either. I know there are times that kids hang out in that area. BUT, just because they are kids (Oh, and they aren't white!) doesn't mean they are dealing drugs. Hanging out and even being rude is what teens do! Maybe they are not all precious angels, but don't assume they are all criminals either. By Susie K |

POOF!!!!
I too went around this weekend and your right. They haven't been there. It is strange. But trust us, there have been a lot of youths hanging around on those corners. What have they been doing there, is not for me to say. I don't live there and have seen nothing illegal. Others, like those at that meeting, say they have seen things going on. I can only go on that.
