As most of you know, the board has made a good-faith effort in addressing the poor conditions of our common area landscaping over the past two years. The grounds are looking better than ever. We are attempting to maintain a good balance between continuing to make improvements and the rising costs of doing so.
Our property has gotten sufficient amounts of moisture with the heavy snow, ice and rains thus far. However, we have begun the watering program with very limited applications. We have asked the management company that we be able to control this program here at the site rather than have the irrigation system run by outside contractors. This should provide us with the ablility to keep the costs down significantly over the summer months.
The board is asking each homeowner to help in this endeavor by monitoring the common areas around each unit. Please keep an eye out for anything that might be damaging to our lawns and mulch beds, i.e., cleaning up after pets. Also, please do NOT attempt to spray any chemicals on the common areas. If you see evidence of grassy areas dying, bring it to the attention of the board or the management company.
