This neighborhood seems to have gone "DOG CRAZY"! All the houses around my house ?— the ones on each side, the one behind and the ones across the street ?— are home to at least one dog. The worst annoyance is the incessant barking. I just came inside because I can't enjoy sitting on my patio. They were all going full blast and non-stop. The mystery is that the homeowners were outside also. They must be oblivious to the noise.
The guy behind me likes to get his muts worked into a frenzy. When he comes home from work he goes out there and taunts them. The one across the street barks indiscriminately from the open window at anything that passes by, or when a hallucination hits him ?— which is about every two minutes. The owner is away at work all day. In the house next to his, the beast gets loose regularly. It's fun to watch the owners scream orders like
"Get back here!!!" or "Get inside!!!" as if their mutt really cared.
Last summer the feces in the back yard next to mine stunk so badly I couldn't help but call the city of Lakewood. They wanted to send someone out but I couldn't bring myself to embarrass my poor neighbor like that.
I am not of this place. I like quiet relaxation that smells good. I wish that somehow these people would become concious of how annoying their dogs are.
