The Gate has once again been vandalized !! We need YOUR help !! If you have seen anyone hitting the gate with thier vehicle, trying to pry the gate open, or otherwise vandalizing the gate, please email me with the information. The Association can charge that person (people) with the repair bills. So far, we have paid out over $5000.00 in repair bills for the gate - this needs to stop.
The cost for replacing the gate mechanisms, or adding additional magnetic logs to the gate (which may or may not stop the problem) can be anywhere between $3000 and up to $10,000 or more.
This is quite expensive, and there is no line item in the budget for this at this time. Therefore, if this is our only alternative, it is a possibility that an assessment will be put to the homeowners to pay for this. THIS HAS NOT BEEN DECIDED ON AT THIS POINT !!!!!!
The board does NOT want to do this - so please help us in stopping this vandalism of our property.
