Tech Girls Internship Program

Overview

The TGIP is an intense 4 year program that is geared toward high school girls. Students can stay in the program until they graduate. The classes are 8 months a year and run from October through May. Courses are twice a week and 3 hours each session. In June the girls will interview for summer internships. Upon successful completion of each internship each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward a college education.

Requirements for admission

* Must be 13-18
* Must be committed
* minimum of a 2.75 GPA
* Proficient in English
* Live in the Columbus area
* 2 references from teachers
* Essay on ''What the program would do for me.''

How to be admitted

1.) Request an application from TGIP
2.) Send completed application in with requested materials
3.) If selected additional paperwork will be mailed to you. If not selected a letter informing you that you are not eligible will be mailed to you.
