Terrace Park Civic Association

Rose Patrol

April 4, 2001

The Terrace Park Civic Association in conjunction with City Councilwoman,Rose Ferlita and Neighborhood Improvement Manager,William Doherty rode through Terrace Park pointing out the areas of most concern. A number of properties and inoperatve vehicles highlighted the list but the biggest concerns center on the Tampa Heights Apartment complex near Scotty's and Takomah Trail Park clean up. The poor conditions of our neighborhood roads, sidewalks and conflicting mph signs were also brought to the attention of Rose Ferlita. A proposed ride through the neighborhood with Elton Smith, Transportation on in discussion. Maybe we can get 46th St., Temple Heights Rd., and Whiteway taken care of before the elections.

About our association

We're Back!!

TPCA Members,

Welcome back! I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. We are kicking off this year with a focus on Takomah Trail Park, resurfacing neighborhood roads, and continuing our efforts at keeping the neighborhood clean.
August 23rd present an opportunity to ride with Rose Ferlita, city councilwoman; Alton Smith, Dir. of Transportation; and William Porth, Neighborhood Coordinator; to inspect area roads and discuss ways to improve 46th St. As with any dealings with government it will take time but the squeakier the wheel the more we will get done. So give them a call and ask them to what correct what needs to be done.
