The Friends of Tanyard Creek Park is a nonprofit group dedicated to serving as stewards and advocates of Tanyard Creek Park located in Atlanta, Georgia. The Friends work to enhance and protect the cultural landscape of Tanyard Creek Park in the spirit of preserving it in its ecological and historical state. Our mission is to provide park users an environment that allows them to relax and enjoy the natural habitat and historic legacy of Tanyard Creek Park while escaping from the stresses of urban life.
