Cub Scouts Take a Tour of the Courthouse

Cub Scouts, Pack 393, Den 15, of Algiers toured the Algiers Courthouse with President Dione Harmon on Monday, October 30. Scouts Kirk Faust, Andrew Shepard, Sam Herwehe, Tyler Loga, Chase Dickey, Connor Chamberlain, and David Beyer made their way through the various offices in the Courthouse and met Assessor Tom Arnold, Constable Ennis Grundmeyer, Judge Mary "KK" Norman, and Clerk of Court Marty Broussard. The boys enjoyed seeing the Courtroom, sitting in the Judge's bench and speaking over the microphone. They toured the Stable building and were intrigued with the jail cell. After the tour they were taken up to the levee and served refreshments.
