In the past few years, The Highlands Neighborhood Association (HNA) has addressed many concerns (traffic, crime, overbuilding, zoning protection), and know that by joining together we can be more effective getting our issues brought before the powers that be. We remain vigilant in protecting our neighborhood and keeping it the desirable place to live that we have chosen and worked for. Let’s join together to show our pride and make our neighborhood cleaner, safer, and more beautiful.
We need your thoughts, ideas, and opinions as we work to improve our neighborhood. Through our many efforts, we have acquired a neighborhood sign to kick-off one of our many neighborhood beautification projects. In order for us to be successful, we need your help to impact our neighborhood and our city in positive ways.
-----Resident, Mrs. Martha Ginn
The above text was written by our resident, Mrs. Martha Ginn, as part of the letter invitation asking residents to become active HNA members more than two years ago. This message remains true of the mission and goals of HNA to support our neighborhood as an active and beautiful place to live and make friends. Whether you live in our neighborhood, in another part of the city, or is in the area attending college or visiting, drop by our meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month unless otherwise noted. You are always welcomed!
