MESSAGE FROM COACH MO (5/15/02):
The results of the vote for moving up are as follows:
9 players ready to move up now
3 players will do whichever the team decides (on the fence)
5 players want to wait one more year
Since I feel we do not have a solid majority for moving up, and we would lose at least 1 player if we did move up (they are adamant about not moving up), I am declaring that we will remain in the intermediate bracket for next year. Therefore we will not have try-outs after the tournament, and I want all green intermediate registration forms with payment turned into me by May 24th.
Another matter to this decision eliminates us from participating in the Steamboat tournament since that tournament is for competitive teams only. Had we decided to move up this fall, we could have participated. So no Steamboat tournament. However, we could play in the LSC Mile-Hi Soccerfest in August.
Who would not be able to play in the August tournament? The dates are August 16-18.
Gary, would Andrea Koele like to play with us in the Ft Logan/Riverside tournament? We will be missing 2 players (Gina and Meredith).
We are also losing Melanie Rothman to the art of Theatre. Therefore, we have 1 available slot on the team for next year. Anybody know of another experienced player/athlete who would like to join us? I need to know very soon.
We will still remain on our normal practice schedule until the tournament.
WELCOME TO SPRING 2002!!
