MARS: It's NOT Just For Robots!
THE MARS SOCIETY - SAN DIEGO is a local chapter of the international Mars Society. We are one of the most active chapters in the US, with many monthly outreach events, public lectures, film screenings and educational interactions. We participate in The Mars Society's ''Mars Analog Research Stations (MARS) program. We operate a 1/4-scale radio-controlled wireless-video Mars Rover at public events, as well as an interactive display table, an analog Mars Suit, and we're working on a MARSpod simulator vehicle.
