In the Beginning

The Meadows subdivision opened in 1980. Contemporary styling , lots of windows, and creative use of rock and wood characterized these homes.

There were six models, priced from $101,000 to $122,900, with square footage from 1189 to 1783. Nearly 30 years later, many of these homes have been tastefully remodeled, additions have been constructed, and landscaping has matured. This is truly a lovely, private neighborhood, yet with great access to shopping and the freeway.

CC&Rs

I added a scanned copy of the neighborhood CC&Rs (click on the link for CCRs), which may affect your plans to add square footage. Pay special attention to setback rules for this subdivision.

Architectural Review Committee

When this neighborhood was first developed, there was an architectural review committee to deal with new construction and additions. That committee has not been active for many years, but the city has taken over most of its responsibilities.
