Problems with ATV's, Motorcycles and Motorized Scooters

Off-Road Vehicles in the Neighborhood

Arizona statutes prohibit the operation of off-road vehicles such as ATV's and motorcycles in such a manner which affects the safety of persons or endangers property. Pima County ordinances prohibit the use of such vehicles in a manner which raises dust. What do you do about such situations? Call 911 and report the activity. Even if TPD is unable to respond in time to catch the vehicle in operation, they will have a report that alerts them to watch for such activity in the neighborhood.

Vehicles in the Park

Motorized vehicles of any type are prohibited from being driven in the park. Not only does this create a safety hazard for people using the park, such use damages the park. If you see such activity, please call 911 immediately.

Motorized Scooters

The City of Tucson has banned the use of motorized scooters on streets and sidewalks. If you see such activity, please call 911 immediately.
