Towne Meadows was incorporated in 1987. The original development was built on Maricopa County land. The land was later annexed by the Town of Gilbert. The neighborhood was built-out in 1992 and control of the Board of Directors was passed to the homeowners in May of 1993.
Common areas in the community include a retention area on Pheasant Rd. the area along Guadalupe Rd. between Highland Corners and Towne Meadows Patio Homes communities and finally, along Houston Rd, east of Advantage Pre-School and ending at the east end of Houston at the entrance of The Groves.

The Board of Directors meet the second Monday of every month. The Board meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Sun Valley Church of Christ on Recker Rd. Board meetings are open for homeowners to attend and observe. Homeowners may not participate in a meeting unless they have requested and been granted time on the meeting's agenda. Questions from homeowners will be answered if time remains after all agenda items have been covered. To request to be added to a Board meeting agenda, call the Management Office at 480-981-5786.
