Is there a reason why the common area is not being cut any more ? Looks awful. Can someone from the board find out what is going on with that? |

Croll has contracted with someone to mow starting this week. They are also getting the irrigation system in the circle, all the way to the front entrance by the bricks up and going. |

It would be a mistake to get the irrigation system running at this time. Working yes, but running, no. We spoke about this at a meeting before the board members were appointed. We all agreed there is no need to water prairie grass. It is costly and will run up the association bills. You can water that grass all day long every day and it will not look that much better. Sod has to be put down and should wait until construction is completed and the dog waste problem is under control. The dog waste will leave brown marks in the grass any way.
However if Lacrosse Homes is paying for the water, then then go for it. If something is going to be an expense that effects the budget the homeowners should have a say. You should get an estimate as to what the monthly cost the water will be. Remember some people were complaining about paying 150 for association fees. Water is expensive in Delaware. Watering crab grass is useless. Never understood why Lacrosse didn't put sod on the circle in the first place |
