It is a criminal offense to dump water into the streets of Peoria! I was back-flushing my pool one day and was approached by a Peoria Policeman. He asked me to stop dumping water into the street because it's a criminal offense. It turns out their is an Ordinance that prohibits such activity here in Peoria, and if they RECIEVE A COMPLAINT they have to enforce it! I recommend everyone who has a pool contact their City Councilman (ours is Ken Forgia). It is ridiculous to expect pool owners to not dump water into the streets if they need to back-flush their pools! If they are going to enforce this Ordinance then they need to ban pools! You can't have one without the other!
