NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GWEN that the Mayor and Council of the City of Tucson will hold a public hearing on November 28, 2006 at or after 5:30 p.m., in the Mayor and Council Chambers of City Hall, 255 West Alameda, Tucson, Arizona, at which time and place all interested persons will have an opportunity to appear and'be heard in relation to the following:
LAND USE CODE AMENDMENT - FOOD SERVICES AND SPIRITUOUS LIQUOR IN THE C-1 ZONE
This is a public hearing before the Mayor and Council to consider amendments to the Tucson Code, Chapter 23, Land Use Code (LUC), for the purpose of aligning the requirements associated with C- I Zone Food Services
establishments serving spirituous liquor with Title 4 of Arizona Revised Statutes that regulate restaurants ssffing alcoholic bevera ),,es.
The proposed amendment to the LUC would occur in A;ticle H, Zones, Division 5 Commercial Zones, Article 111, Development Regulations, Division 5 Performance Criteria, and Article VI, De
2 finitions, Division 2, Listing of Words and Terms
A copy of the above proposed amendment can be obtained from the City of Tucson Department of Urban Planning & Design located on the Third Floor of the MacArthur Building, 345 East Toole Ave., Tucson, Arizona, or from the Urban Planning & Design website at hIM://www.tucsonaz.goy/iplanning/lucatnend.htrn. The Council Chambers is wheelchair accessible; an assistive listening system for the hearing impaired is in place; and closed captioning is available on cable television.
