The 23rd Street Association was incorporated by 22 charter members in the spring of 1929 with the mission to "Maintain a safe, pleasant, prosperous environment in which to live and conduct business in an area of Manhattan stretching from 18th Street to 28th Street, river to river."
The concerns of the Association are much the same today as they were over 75 years ago: making our community a better place in which to live, work and prosper. Regardless of the issue being faced, the Association will continue to be a progressive, constructive, commonsense force for improvements to the economic vitality and quality of life of this community.
