Officer Pat Claar is in charge of the Multi - Housing Crime Free Program here in Arvada. He has helped us to clean up our property. We have learned that we are a Community not a Complex. I am the Community Resource Officer for South East Arvada, and I have been in police work for 23 yrs. I have been involved with Crime Free Housing since 1996, which is when it started in Arvada. I am currently the program coordinator, and work with officers and apartments with a variety of issues associated with crime on rental property.
Twice a year the Arvada Police Department offer's a free class about the Crime Free Program. It is an eight hour session, and you are required to attend all eight hours to recive a Certificate. The classes are open to Owners, Managers, and Tenants.
