The Ventura Maintenance Association, Inc. (VMA), has an assumed name filed with the Bexar County courthouse as the Ventura Homeowners' Association (VHA). The VMA is a corporation organized under the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act.
Membership is required of all homeowners and includes an annual assessment fee. The assessment fees are used to maintain common areas (swimming pool and tennis courts), on-site manager, accountant, administrative assistant, summer employees, and enforcement of the Declaration of Restrictions and By-Laws. The services which are furnished and paid for by the Association out of the maintenance fund shall include the acquisition and operation of common area property for recreational or other purposes and the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of any facilities. Services provided include, landscaping of common areas, social activities and any and all other services or things which the Association shall deem necessary or desirable for the maintenance and improvement of the subdivision.
