The Village Council and Mayor have placed advertisements in the Columbus Dispatch and the Ohio Bar Association Report for open positions with the Village.

The Village is currently accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Police Chief. Ads appeared in the Columbus Dispatch.

The Village is currently accepting applications for the position of Records Court Clerk. Unfortunately the young lady that was hired will not be able to fill the position because of conflicts with her school schedule. Anyone interested may obtain an application from the Village Hall. An Ad should be appearing shortly in the Columbus Dispatch.

The Village Council is seeking resumes and cover letters for attorneys interested in serving as Village Solicitor. The current solicitor's contact expires the end of May so the Village Council is insuring that we are getting the best service for our money. The Current Solicitor will be applying to keep the position. Anyone interested in the position of Village Solicitor should send a resume and cover letter to the Village Hall to my attention. An ad was placed in the Ohio Bar Association Report and will appear this coming Monday for two weeks.

Village Solicitor Ad Language

The Village of Valleyview in Franklin County is seeking to fill the position of Village Solicitor/Prosecutor to begin June 1, 2005. The successful candidate will work closely with Village Council providing legal opinions on Municipal Law and will serve as the Prosecutor for the Village?’s Mayor?’s Court. The Village reserves the right to split the position and hire two candidates, one for Village Solicitor and one for Prosecutor. Successful candidates will be required to attend meetings of the Village Council and attend all sessions of Mayor?’s Court.
