To provide a voice for the neighborhod regarding any internal or external influences that threaten or encroach on the quality of residents'lives, the security and safety of streets, the value of homes, and the beauty of our neighborhood.
The Association was founded and incorporated Feb.1 1952 and has been administered by volunteer homeowners which represent all 259 homeowners. Home ownership here carries with it membership in the West Bethany Homowners Association,Inc,.(WBHA)and all the privileges and responsibilities which help make ours a good neighborhood in which to live. You should have received a homeowner booklet which has copies of the Association By-Laws and the Incorporation,Deed Restrictions, Irrigation information and other important issues which you will want to look over. If you have not received a homeowners book, please get in touch with one of the Board members.
Past projects of the Association include 30 plus years of irrigation system management and street repairs and resurfacing, water drainage problems, placement of "Stop signs" prevention of unwanted traffic through the subdivision, constant contact with city official to prevent undesireable uses in our subdivision. Lighting alley ways, streets and many other items that help to keep our homes secure. About a "Million Dollars" worth of services for such a small annual membership fee and provided entirely by volunteer homeowners who serve this Association without pay.
Your Association also issues News Bulletins from time to time with various announcements and information, delivered to your door by volunteers. We want you to become an active member in your Association, attend meetings, let your voice be heard, get involved with your neighborhood and the projects we take on. Help keep our neighborhoods safe, neat and clean, as crime free as possible, a good place to raise children and to live ourselves.
