Zoning in my neighborhood is re-20 re-40. But a builder wants to put 7 houses on 7 ''grandfathered '' lots...meaning using old zoning.Legally w/ re-20&re-40 zoning he could build 3 houses.)
He has removed 4 200 yr old oak trees, legally & taken 15 ft. off the top of the rock formation (inside of the senic coorodor) We are in a mountian fire hazard area on a street that is a single lane & 13 ft. wide in some spots. Which is a NO outlet.and 25 houses =using the street. I want to see a study done by the fire dept on building house too close togather & this project DOWNSIZED. But IT'S LEGAL!!
These old tiny lots should not be able to build just because of grandfathered zoning....any comments?
