Welcome to our neighborhood! The Waluga Neighborhood Association was founded and formally recognized by the city in 1976. Neighborhood associations provide an officially recognized channel for citizen participation in Lake Oswego.
Nineteen formally recognized neighborhood associations offer an opportunity for citizens to participate in decision-making in the geographic area in which they live. Participation in a neighborhood association is voluntary and open to all who live in or own property or a business within the neighborhood's boundary.
We are happy to have you as our neighbors and wish to extend a cordial invitation to attend our meetings that are usually held on the third Thursday of the month. During the school year, the meetings are held at the Lake Grove Elementary School, with other venues, as needed, during the summer.

In 2005, the Waluga Neighborhood Foundation was formed as a non-profit organization. Fundraising efforts have been in place since that time. This foundation was formed to promote safety, maintain neighborhood character, increase livability, encourage beautification and participate in other charitable activities for our association and the local community. All donations are tax deductible. Many fundraising events are in the planning phase and we would like to invite you to volunteer to help with these events. If you cannot help, please consider donating to support future events. Cash, checks or credit card donations are accepted. Please contact Cheryl Uchida or Ron Anderson (see contact information below) to request more information. Watch for announcements in neighborhood flyers, the local media and Lake Oswego’s website for future events.
