I recently received a mailing, as I suspect that many in our neighborhood did, from the Vietnam Veterans of America request that I leave a ''bag'' of material donations on my front porch on May 1 for pick-up by that body. Anyone interested in donating to that body might wish to check the finances of that entity from a neutral website affiliated with the Better Business Bureau.
