The Waterford Area Neighborhood Watch Association was formed in April 2003. The Association was formed by Joshua Kuehn our current President. This Association is designed for the people and is headed by local citizens. We have several Law Enforcement Agencies that we work with including; The Racine County Sheriffs Department, The Village of Waterford Police and the Town of Waterford Police Department. Because we work with all three on a regular basis this organization is set up to stand by itself not relying on any department for funding or leadership. One of our front Law Enforcement leaders is Deputy Zimmermann from the Racing County Sheriff Department's COPS program. He has been most helpful in getting this group organized.
Some of this Associations goals are the following;
To make drives aware of residential speeds and make the adhere to them. To notify the public about possible nuisances in the community. To make the public aware of current safety risks and educate them on how to keep their family's safe. And as with any neighborhood Watch group we are here to protect each other from bad things. As our slogan says "Building a stronger, safer community together"
