as for mdg80, he rubbed me the wrong way right out of the gate ... you know that old mean guy that everyone had in their neighborhood growing up?  the guy that yelled at you if you walked in his grass?  id bet good money he is that guy

no doubt.  He is the guy that likes to be witty but when you ask him to do anything you never get any help

Byars, I appreciate the tone of your email.  And people often use the word condescending when someone who is confident in their knowlege critiques the mistakes of others.  But, I'm the one actually thinking before I write, not cussing and insulting other people, and asking for motorists to step out of their car and meet me "face-to-face."  Don't let the tone of my email obstruct what I'm actually getting at.

I agree that the job is probably hard.  But, wasting large sums of money on a lawsuit, when that money could be diverted towards what other members want, is still a silly mistake.  If it is so hard to get things done, then how exactly did that pass? If the legal advice is free, then I stand corrected, but no one has responded to that.

If I had to sum up the purpose of my posts it would be to say that more than a few people are tired of this lawsuit, the people obstructing traffic anytime they decide that their children should play in the middle of the road need to stop doing that, and people are watching the HOA's actions and wondering what the rationale is for them.

Is there a way to post some financial files on this site?  Or copy and paste them in a post?  That way, everyone could see what was going on with the click of the mouse.  It would get more people involved, as well as serve as an accountability tool for the HOA.

You two are ridiculous.  Byers if you need help on something then send it my direction and I'll put some effort into it.  I don't care how mundane it is.  My address is mdg80@aol.com.  I'll let the board know as well.  Luke_osu, your analogy from boyhood was great.
