Metro United Way (MUW) in Louisville, Kentucky raised $30.2 million last year as a result of increased understanding of the impact a united agency can have in helping a metro area focus on critical community needs. ?“In serving two out of three people living in Louisville and Southern Indiana, Metro United Way finds people where they are and helps them. Its not just people in dire straits: it could be anybody,?” says MUW spokeswoman Holly Hinson-Stivers.
MUW generously invested in three Wellspring programs through the Healthy Seniors and Others Community Investment Team. The Crisis Stabilization Unit, Journey House, and Ardery House demonstrated the greatest results for their clients by reaching desired outcomes, thus maintaining strong funding from MUW.
Please support Metro United Way. By doing so, you will help MUW achieve its vision to build a stronger America by mobilizing our communities to improve people?’s lives.
